Tejakula village with its rich heritage of Balinese cultural traditions and activities in painting, Gamelan music, Balinese dances and ritual performances is situated at the black-sand and vulcanic-rock coast of North-Eastern Bali having an almost maximum possible distance from the mass - tourist areas and from Denpasar airport with their polluted air and congested roads. This northern region is sheltered by the Agung- and Batur mountains and has a much drier climate with more sunshine than South- and Middle Bali, even during the rainy season.
The resort lies right at the beach front in a one hectare large natural beach garden, about one kilometer from the village, surrounded by coconut grooves, a few fishermen's houses, traditional salt production and the Balinese sea with stunning views upwards to the Batur massif and across the sea to Lombok's Rinjani-mountain range on the horizon. The coastal location of the resort moderates the heat, provides fresh sea wind and makes Bungalow-Villas and the garden almost mosquito-free most of the year. Usually the sea is so gentle without strong waves or currents that CBG is an ideal place for swimming in the sea !
